  1. I love what you did with the photo Pierre. You can see the excitement and fatigue in their eyes. I am a sailor and I would not want to cross the North Atlantic in January.They also had to go around the northern tip of Ireland in order to avoid the U-boats. So brave.

    • What I enjoy the most in all of this is how I got to know your grandfather through your nephew doing a school project and stumbling on my blog.
